I have a quote from a Control 4 Dealer to automate my small home theater set up and lighting in that room for around $3.5K. I am not too surprised by the price but also see some annual subscription fees for $199 etc mentioned in there.

I did not get a response for what that is for? Can some one throw some light?

Most likely 4sight:

It makes it easier for your dealer to service you, every one of my Control4 clients has it.

The $199 is probably a my home iPad license. If so I would recommend the $499 my home Site license this will give you up to 50 iPads, iPhone and laptops etc... Check with your installer. The 4sight should be closer to $99-$120 a year. We have both.
