We had the Homelogic system installed as a controller 10 yrs ago. The Homebrick has failed due to an internal hardware/driver issue. I'm not complaining at all. I think 10yrs of constant operation is pretty good.

I would like suggestions for a replacement controller. We used the Homelogic system to control;

Russound Audio - it was also the AM/FM tuner and mp3 source, although we do have a NAS that can be the storage unit.
UPB lighting
Security
Aprilaire Thermostats

It was pretty much the only control, as we do not have keypads other than the security system. Everything else went through Homelogic.

I'm sure repair is possible, but not what I want since the Homebrick system is no longer supported. It's time to upgrade.

Any suggestions?

Maybe. I sent them an email last year about upgrade options and received no response. I would have expected better as an existing user.

Who did you email? I would suggest a phone call to your local dealer. My dealer was very helpful regards upgrading my system.

I emailed them to try to find a local dealer. I am in a rural area, so local really isn't. Also, when I contact some of the ones on their list they don't really do Elan even though they are a "dealer". They usually have another system they prefer, like Control 4.
