I bought a switch to control my outside porch light and there was a basic switch with two black wires on the back. So on the iris switch i put the ground to ground and black to neutral and the black wire to line and this is the only way to make the blue led light up and i can hear it click on but no juice to the porch light???  Do i need to jump something?

Two black wires on the original switch, two black terminals on the iris switch, correct? If it doesn't work one way then swap them around. Neutral should only be connected to the white neutral terminal if your switch has one.
