Hi

i am trying to figure a way to shut down properly my Windows server based media server from my RTI panel when i select power off. only thing i can think off is to send a telnet command but not sure how to program or if my XP3 can do this, has anyone any ideas on this please?

yes but you need a driver to do it: RTI has an unsupported third party driver to send one way IP strings:you need a passsword to access the site

another way to do it is buy an IR receiver that plugs into USB port of server and send an IR command
