For those of you with Macs, HAM Bridge is a svelte little HTTP server that transforms a simple GET request with one parameter to executable code on your Mac in the way of an AppleScript, Automator workflow, or Shell/Python script.
I have been using this to integrate commands from iRule, events from SmartThings, etc. to provide integration to other "things" those things don't control, and to exercise a good deal of logic my Mac is simply better at. For instance I can send the following from iRule or SmartThings:
And have it set my Venstar ColorTouch, turn audio gear and start playing iTunes, and set a lighting scene of both Hue and X10 lights.
Or have SmartThings send an allOFF command that shuts "everything" down when a presence sensor indicates I'm away.
I decided to clean it up, remove the hard coded stuff, and get it ready for prime time, and released a beta today. You can check out the beta and join in the discussion at my G+ community
