Glad she didn't watch me do that (SMK-6000)
Seasoned Crestron installers will get it. Re-doing the home theater. New paint, carpet, seating and beautifull coffee table. First off, I have this thing about wires. They should be used and not seen. I have a siamese cable attached to my TPS-6000 that grosses me out just seeing it. A while back I bought a SMK-6000 (swivel mount kit). Never used one before and was not sure how to install it. I took it out of the box and started reading the installation instructions. Eeeeewwww. Drill four 5/16 holes to bolt it down AND one 2-1/2 inch hole saw in the middle for the bearing to clear and the wires to pass through.
Well, lets wait for mom to leave for work first.
OK, all done. Took about a hour. Nice and neat. No wires showing and the mess is cleaned up. Lets see what she says when she gets home.
YOU DID WHAT...
Current owner of the last/best AmPro on the planet. The mighty 4600HD, and it's still running...better than Barco's, especially southern ones.
