Hi all

I'm looking for a newer digital portable tv that runs on AA batteries, haven't really found mutch when I researched, but found a few:

getmyelectronics.com/collections/frontpage/products/3-5-battery-operated-led-digital-tv-atsc-only (Model DHT235C)

lcddigital.tv/8_tv-digital.html (Model: LCD84ATSC)

(Sorry could not post links beacause I have to post at least 3 posts to do that, just copy paste into google or write www infront)

and the RCA DMT335R‏ which they suddenly don't sell anymore. Was at the RCA store a week ago.

Tried googling for a forum and came here

What is your personal experience with portable tv's and do you have any other recommendations?

Thanks In advance

Regards
~Roffe~

Looking for a 17'' or smaller atsc tuner TV that works on 12v car adapter, most importantly one that will play avi,mp4 video files off a usb stick. just for when the power goes out.

Been checking out some at amazon that claim to play files but none do according to buyer reviews.
thanks for reading

I think the simplest option would a notebook/netbook (windows or Linux) with a USB TV tuner dongle.
