Question XFi Notebook & W7 - No Line-In?!

Sorry if this isn't the right area for this.
Since it's a laptop and portable, it's the only area that seemed to fit.

Setup a Lenovo T61 w\Win7 and an X-Fi Xtreme Audio Notebook pc card.

This was an incredible enhancement since they removed the stereo line in and 'what you hear' recording abilities in most pc's.

But unlike XP, it seems either W7 or Creative drivers will not allow line-in or 'what you hear' recording capability.
Tried the 'show disabled devices' option in audio properties but they are not there.

Used the latest drivers from Creative (1.04.0000).
Not allowing this when the card supports it would be pure evil.

Thanks for any help or info!

AS YOU WERE!
Was able to get the Line-in to show in recording devices.
Now my only question is:
Why no "What You Hear" or "Stereo Mix" like there is in our XP OS?

With Audacity, we have the ability by using the WASAPI driver.
Is that the only recording\editing program that gives us that ability?

Thanks
