Portable MP3 Players?

I'd like to replace my aging portable MP3 Player.
My current one is over ten years old. It is a Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra 60 GB MP3 Player

It looks similar to this one here:
https://www.amazon.com/Creative-Juke.../dp/B0002BRMNA

A couple years ago I upgraded to HDD when it was failing. I was able to replace the 60 GB HDD with a 120GB HDD.
I like having my music collection with me. But it's like carrying rolls of quarters in my pocket.

I'd like to know if there are any portable SSD MP3 Players with at least 120 GB - 1 or 2 TB of storage space.

Is there anything out there? Or is it possible for my to get a smaller one and upgrade it?

Not many players with that much storage. Consider buying a no-contract phone that can handle 128G Micro SD card. You can use these phones without activating them, just like a tablet. The only thing I'm not sure about on any given phone is the audio quality of the headphone jack.

This one is only $40: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/at-t-gop...?skuId=4984700

I'm not really looking for a camera/phone.

Are there any portable SSD MP3 Players that I could maybe upgrade their hard drives to the desired size?

Features I am/am not looking for:

light weight (lighter than my current MP3 Player)
Portable MP3 Player minimum 120GB+
no-expandable SD storage needed to get the desired space I want.
no-video, photos needed
no-camera
no-phone
FM radio optional

You won't like it, but DanPackMan's answer is probably the best one you'll get. Otherwise you'll probably be looking at devices like this:

I may be able to deal with the SD storage part if I didn't need to switch cards.

IE: If a player offered storage for 256 GB using two 128 GB slots that I can fill.

I don't want to switch out SD cards all the time and risk losing them.

Looks promising.

Anyone have an experience with that one, or this one?

X5 3rd gen http://www.fiio.net/en/products/65

It has dual micro SD slots for 256GB in each.
slot 1: 256GB
slot 2: 256GB
built-in: 32GB
544GB total
