iPhone lightning to HDMI adapter audio quality

i've got an iPhone 6 and this adapter does output 1080p + multi-channel output from from to my AVR (Denon 4308ci) in LPCM multichannel when using Vudu HDX.

the other apps I've played with are restricted due to licensing like Amazon Prime is non-HD when using HDMI... even though the app itself has HD on the phone itself (lol useless on such a small display).

anyways, was wondering through some googling, this HDMI output has some sort of SoC chip on the adapter itself (hence why it's only sold by Apple) and is some sort of a conversion that takes place so you will not get the raw HDMI signals.

long story short... i can play .flac using flac box, so if i am playing 24bit/192k content flac *USING* this adapter if it is somehow transcoded?

i haven't been testing that portion, just curious for those that have tested.

to the edge of eternity and depth of infinity, stupidity knows no bound.
