I don't have a Zune yet, but am planning on getting one in the next few days, so I had some questions about videos on it from some experienced users. I know it supports WMV. I have the Ripit4me/DVD decrypter/DVD shrink combo to rip dvds, but when it rips it makes about a million little files. This isn't a big deal to view, since opening one runs the whole movie, but if I wanted to put it on a Zune, how would I do that, and would I need to convert the files any further?

I think you can open the avi files in Windows Movie Maker and convert them to wmv. I bought Winavi and it does the trick.

I purchased CuCuSoft's DVD to Zune Converter Suite and it converts it straight to WMV, I don't even have to deal with all of those .vob files.

Hat Trick: XBOX 360, PS3, Wii

Well I use pinacle mobile media converter. It sells for 30 bucks at BB. I converts files to mpg4. It outputs them as PSP or IPod sized not sure if the zune can take those files and convert them. But it works flawlessly for ipod.
