HI I am quite new to the site, i am a bit green when it comes to connecting speakers.. well lets start, my samsung hdtv has SRS TruSurround XT like everyone's now what i want is to be able to connect a 2.1 speaker system (logitech z2300) to it without loosing the SRS TruSurround XT .... what can I do or how do i have to connect these speakers in order to be able to still have the SRS TruSurround... as when i connect them directly to the tv ( rca , left and right, back panel ) it does not work, even the tv equiliser does not work.

cheers for your feedback

I'm pretty sure the TruSurround is just an echo effect deal that is built into the integrated speakers in the tv, not something you can send to other speakers.

FYI: You can get very inexpensive stereo shelf systems on craigslist at most any time, which you can hook up with your rca cables and use the "surround" effects built into the shelf system.
