I cannot get the stand off the new Philips - 42TA648BX bought at Costco.
I removed the 4 screws at the back and still the stand wouldn't come off. I have to get rid of the stand it comes with to wall mount it.
Any body else have this problem. i am so frustrated with it. Philips support wasn't much help either.
Any advise / tricks appreciated - I guess my only other option would be to return it back to Costco.

hmm., maybe lay a towel over stand and gently tap off with a hammer? Might just be a tight fit, Good luck.
