I have mounted my TV on the wall of my bedroom. The room is pretty small and I mounted the TV in the only possible place I could. The Problem: The TV is on the same spot the an exterior light is on. When the outside light is on, I get a nasty buzzing through the TV. Anyway to insulate against this? Any ideas would be helpful.

Is the outside light fluorecent or incandescent?

If it isn't 720p or 1080i/p it isn't HD. If it is 720p or 1080i/p it may not be HD content.

You could try a line regulator to plug your tv and it's connected items into. Check out the APC LE1200, it's a surge protector and voltage regulator in one and not very expensive and it works very well:

Can you replace the fluorescent bulb with incandescent? Fluorescent bulbs are, from an EMI standpoint, very noisy.

Is it compact fluorescent? Try a different bulb. Also try putting the two devices on separate circuits.
