Anyone using the Samsung LN46A650 for PC Gaming? If so, would greatly appreciate any feedback on the pros vs. cons.

Interested in picking up my first LCD over the holidays with the intent of exclusively using it for PC Gaming. Thank you kindly for any thoughts on this...!

That Samsung is the best. The only con is the price.

I'm using a Sony with 120hz, 10-bit panel. Probably the second best, for a few hundred less.

Hi ya Frank (and others) - have you happened to use your Sony or had exposure to the Samsung for PC Gaming specifically by chance?

Yea, no responses...

Well, I decided to hold off on buying the Samsung, because my intent was to use this exclusively as a PC Gaming monitor which I've been saving up for through the years. Since I really couldn't find any good info on this guys, I didn't want to risk it if anyone has any insight/experience with this, would be nice to hear and greatly appreciated.

No direct experience- but the general sentiment over in the gaming forum is that the higher end samsungs have problems with lag. One of the main reasons I've avoided samsung panels as I'm a gamer.

A quick "pulse" of user comments reveals panasonic, sharp and sony to be displays with little to no input lag.

The 650 has absolutely zero input lag over both VGA and HDMI2 set to PC mode. There's no reason I can think of that it would not be an amazing PC gaming LCD.

The ignorance over lag is astounding at times.

This is correct. Input lag should not be a concern via VGA or if using HDMI2/PC (and not using a 480P or 720P resolution).

I have had my computer connected to my LN46A650 and it looks great!
Most of this was for testing but I have thrown on a couple DVD's and fired up Warhammer.
