I got a KDL-46S4100 the other day at best buy. Blu-ray movies look awesome. Some HD broadcasts (dish) look awesome. Other looks questionable. Things look grainy sometimes.
And I feel like motion, especially slower movement rather than quick, blurs images. Is this because of the "8 ms response time"? (Anyone know what the V series response time is? I can't seem to find it.)
I'm wondering, is this because I chose the entry level S series? Is the V series better in picture quality or is it mainly menu features or what?
We sit about 8 feet away. I'm wondering if I'd be better off and/or happier if I swapped my 46" S series for a 42" V, which is about the same price. Better PQ? or maybe even just dropping in size a bit will crisp things up a bit.
Also, will geek squad calibration do much for these tv's? (as in, more than what I can do with a calibration dvd with red/blue/green filters.)
Thanks for any input.
