As other posters recommend Sammy LN46A650 will definitely will not let you down for less than $1500 + Free Shipping from Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-LN46A650-46-Inch-1080p-120Hz/dp/B001413D94/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1234024021&sr=1-1#

I run Ps3, Xbox & Wii on my Sammy LN46A650. What i hate most is my friends always drop by and occupying my Sammy for gaming

They don't even show the Toshiba REGZA Cinema Series 42XV545U 42-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD on their website. Are you sure it was that model?

There seems to be very good deals on 46" Sony Z-Series right now (Z4100).

And of course the usual suspects of the Sammy 650, 630, 750, etc.

The question he asks...."looking for concrete evidence" is actually not practical. There are no studies to actually define best TV. There are alot of marketing materials floating around claiming to be the best. But, you can't come up with "concrete" evidence that one tv is better than another when components and price point are similar. I won the 40inch 525u LCD. Pretty good TV. Nice color, decent picture.....Could I find something better??? Always. So, stop looking for someone else to give you the go ahead on what tv to buy. Go out and buy what you like, try it, if you don't like it...take it back buy another one.
