Does Samsung offer something in the box for the ext warranty? I got one on my Sony and unfortunately I did need it.

I did not see anything in the box with it.

You get a CD, and USB thumb/jump drive, the standard warranty paper, and some other setup, and FCC type papers in it.

I bought mine from the place I bought the TV (Amazon).

I didn't pay for the extended warranty. My last Samsung came with 18 month after registering online then after that expired they sent mail with an opportunity to extend it. So i figured i'll wait.

Thanks, Ben

Square trade is outstanding if you like extended warranties.

I am so excited i just placed the order through Amazon also. I am replacing my 4066f (aka 4065f). I was motivated to get this after I saw my friend's ln46a650. Knowing this has a much higher CR and 240hz AND at this price point...I couldn't NOT hit the place order button!

I will take a million pics when the time comes.

My TV just arrived today, I got it from Amazon, with the help of another poster on this forum - an incredible deal.

I tried to estimate a 45 degreee angle from the TV, about 8-10 feet away, (using a Canon 20d set at about 35mm) and it looks pretty good to me. I picked a picture with text, so you can see. This is simply Cox cable HDTV, so you are not looking at blue-ray picture. It looks pretty good to me. We should be able to use the entire living room for TV viewing. This is default, out of the box configuration, so I'm sure I can tweek it even more.

If you have a specific request of viewing angles, let me know, and I will see what I can do.

Can you provide some pics of the tv when looking at the same image directly in front of it to do some comparison? What size did you get?

I'm wondering about this mount. It definitely looks inexpensive, but seems to have good reviews. Plus, monoprice is a forum sponsor.

Can somebody post how PQ is in SD? I read all posts, but nobody mentioned this.
Tried to see it in person, but sales person in Future Shop said that they do not have a SD source.
When I asked Why, he said they do not want to show how bad the set could be.
I know that LED B6000/B7000 have very bad PQ with SD signal. What about B750?

Thanks.

Do the math of what 480i is --- it equates to a Turd comparatively no matter the TV but it does matter channel to channel - I have some digital SD channels that are excellent on my panels while others are Super Turds with the same 480i. I also have a Blu-Ray with an HQV Chip that makes SD close to HD but never quite but still damn good. HD is 500-600% improvement and when you get used to it - you'll actually get addicted to watching many things you might not otherwise- the nothingness and nature of "Sunrise Earth" can be amazing in HD as virtually anything - even boring blurry golf in SD is a total different game in wide screen HD even if you don't golf.

I'm confident you'll find the same results and the fix is to maximize HD sources or don't waste your money IMO unless you can accept those Turd broadcasts you must tolerate until everything is HD - my bet is on HD or else would not waste the money.

I tolerate that 10% for when I watch CNBC to watch the market but 90+% is HD. I would check with BPMurr the OP since he's owned more top of the line panels that most anyone in recent years on these threads that I've witnessed - perhaps he could chime in.

Mine was delivered this afternoon. No USB drive, instead I have a regular user manual, maybe 3/8" thick.

For those asking about DirecTV, I have an HR23-700 HD DVR connected HDMI to a Denon AVR-888 then HDMI from then Denon to the B750. The picture looks stellar but there seems to be a 5-6 second lag when changing channels, as if there is an HDMI handshake with each channel. I changed it to a direct HDMI connection from the DirecTV DVR right to the B750 and now the lag reduces to about 3 or 4 seconds. Thoughts or comments?

Quick observation on the 52B750(purchased it for a Mothers Day gift for mom) I loved the USB 2.0 Media Player feature, had an old WD My Book 250GB Hard Drive laying around the house So I loaded it up with some HD (.mkv) and DivX(.avi) Movies and was surprised at how well they looked I didn't have too much time to play with it but it seems like Auto Motion is turned on by default in this mode and cant be disable also I couldn't stretch the image to fill the entire screen in this mode, when I hit the size button it told me "the feature was not supported" that's all i had time to do today, I'll probably head back over there Saturday(If i get off work early enough) and Definitely Sunday to finish the setup

Weird. Mine came with the USB drive too. Is there a production date on the box? Where did you order from?

Also, my set works perfectly with my DirecTV DVR over HDMI. There is no delay or lag.

AMP can be disabled in this mode. I believe you have to hit the tools button to make picture adjustments.

So why do they supply a USB thumb/jump drive with the set? Is it used to activate a feature within the set, update firmware because of a certain production date or an introduction presentation of the features of this set?

Do any owners in here have DirecTV? My installer said sometimes Samsungs have issues with their boxes and HDMI. Was curious if this was true or not.

I was not having problems until this week. Handshaking is having problems. I have to turn off the DTV box and then turn it on to get it to display on the TV but I am also running it through an AV receiver.

I just ordered mine from the big A too. Wife said to wait two weeks until we move in to the new house but I'm too impatient.

Has anyone ever had Pilot (company) for the delivery?

I had pilot deliver my TV on Friday. It was due Monday, but they called Thursday, and asked if they could deliver it Friday. I was happy to accept!!!!

They brought in the house, unboxed it, powered it on, and attached the stand.
