I'm using these settings for watching DVDs and blu-ray through my PC, however the screen appears to be too dark for my taste, colors are good though. Should I adjust the brightness, or backlight? I'm not quite sure what the difference is, and if anything else needs to be adjusted accordingly when adjusting those settings. Dark blue text is completely unreadable on dark backgrounds.

bumping a real old thread here...can anyone recommend anything on the market today with great input lag like the S1...ive had the 32" for a few years and its been great...just looking for something a bit bigger now with the same response time.
