Can anybody tell me what this is? I'm getting pretty tired of it, as it looks even more visible than in the pictures, especially in motion. Is it possible to return it or exchange it just for this problem at Conns? I wanted to trade it, a Samsung LN-T4061, for a Panasonic G10 or S1 Plasma. I've heard it looks great with an excellent value. I just can't go with an LED LCD knowing there's a plasma half-price and same or maybe better PQ. Sorry guys. Unless you convince me, I'm going with plasma.

Hehe, I hope I am! It really does look nasty. It was in Conns, and I bought it in 2008. I think it has 3 year warranty. I really hope it does. I'm really not completely sure.

Like I said, it looks way worse than what it looks like in the pictures. No, I didn't mess with the settings. This is all serious. And I'm only 18. Right now, by 'wifey' you mean 'mommy'.

Not really. To be honest, parents haven't yet payed it off completely. We're close though. Quite embarrassing really. Hehe. Is there a way to return or exchange it while in this process?

It is a little difficult to tell from the pictures but it appears to be liquid crystal injection contamination. During the LCD panel manufacturing hundreds of devices that look like eye droppers come down to inject the liquid crystals. If the liquid crystals are contaminated or the injectors withdrawn too soon (or too late) it will produce subtle white blobs evenly spaced in a symetric grid pattern. Is this what you are seeing?

Those who think they know everything annoy those of us who do.

You would have to find out if you have the extended warranty. If not, most sets have a 1 year manufacturer's warranty. Either way, I doubt you're within a return period if you bought it in 2008. If you bought it from the conns website, looks like they only have a 14 day return period, so your only option will probably be home repair.

Your TV is mad that you play Halo!!! JK... Or am I??? That looks horrible! I would definitely look into taking the set back. Or contact Samsung directly about the situation....

Whoa, nice answer. Very thorough. Yes, I guess that is what it is. And scottman, I think I do have one. I remember something about 3 years being mentioned.

Thanks everybody, I'm gonna try to find out this weekend if I can return this failed model.
