frito, for the 240Hz I meant the 40XBR9. Anyway, I went to Fry's just this afternoon and saw the Samsung LN32B650, Sony 32XBR9, and LG 32LH40. Unfortunately, the LG couldn't be turned on--it was unplugged for some reason and the socket was unreachable--so I could only compare the Samsung and the Sony. (It was kind of difficult for me to do a comparison since they were behind each other.) From what I could see on both screens, I believe the Samsung LN32B650 had the better picture; it seems as well that the Samsung had lesser motion blur. The picture on the Sony seemed pixelized, and both LCDs were displaying the same channel. Also, the Samsung has more features--for example, I could adjust the dejuddder and the motion blur separately.
Do you guys think the LN32B650 would be a good computer monitor? I will try to go to another Fry's farther away from our house to see if their LG is working there.
