Im looking for a good gaming/blu-ray lcd.

Im looking for a 40" or bigger if i find a good deal, 1080p,120hz and preferably around $800-$1000. Im having trouble because everytime i find a tv i like i look at reviews and there seem to be something wrong with it. So i just wanna know whats the best brand or specific tv to go with.

Any help would be appreciated

LG 42LH90 (LED, discontinued and prices dropping)
LG LH40/50 (120hz, non led)
LG LD520/550 (120hz, non led)
LG LE5400 LED lit (more expensive)

Sony 40EX500 is getting pretty nice reviews, I've checked it out in person and it is a quality and very natural set. About $800

You can have a look at these customer reviews for Sony 40EX500.

Personally I also like Samsung LN40C630.

I totally agree that the Sony 40EX500 and the Samsung LN40C630 both provide the most "bang for the buck" for quality LCDs on the market today. The Sony might fare better slightly if you do a lot of gaming, but the Samsung may have a very slight edge in picture quality. I would be very happy with either one.

yea those was the exact 2 models I was looking at.(samsung and sony) But when I went to best buy earlier in the week they had the sony on display playing a promo blu-ray or something I guess. It looked good until underworld showed up and some concert with justin timberlake and you could see the pixels real bad. I don't know if it was the tv or what they was playing.
