Looking to replace 36" Sony XBR450. It has split screen capabilities(watching two different channels, side by side). This is really great for watching sports or news(or two diferent weather channels here on the Gulf Coast during hurricane season). I can increase/decrease size of each and toggle back and forth for sound.
Do any of the new LCD's have this capability?
Looking for 46/47"
Sports-65%
Movies-!0%
News/other programing-25%
Mediacon cable

I don't believe there are anymore LCD's with that capabilities, unfortunately.
Some have PiP, but are limited to certain sources (like PC connection or digital-analog)

I really miss my Sony RPTV's PiP function.

PS: Please keep only one thread. (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1259142) No need to have more than one.

C'mon... go easy on the newcomer. He's only feeling his way around the board and is bound to make a few mis-steps here and there.

I'm pretty sure Vizio sets still do this. My vizio that I got 1 year ago has this, they call it POP (picture outside picture)
