Hello all. New member with a strange issue I'm hoping someone might be able to shed some light on.
The television in question is a 46" Samsung 6 Series "640", I believe this model was exclusive to Best Buy.
It's not a big issue, but I haven't been able to nail down what's causing it.
When sunlight hits the screen coming from a window to the left, there is a "reflection" along the edge of the screen. It's a vertical line, seemingly one pixel wide, broken up into several inch sections top to bottom. This line has steadily grown longer over the past few months. The line is most noticable when the image on the screen is dark... and is even visible when the display is powered down. This line is less noticable is you're facing the screen directly or left of center, but is more noticable when changing the viewing angle to the right of center. Weird huh?
As well (possibly related?) I've noticed backlight leakage in only the upper left corner of the screen.
Any ideas as to what would cause this "reflection" line?
