Is there an US LCD HDTV with a power supply that can accept a 50 Hz power source, and able to accept PAL analog feeds? If the feed is through HDMI, will it make any difference?

Stepping down the voltage from 220 VAC to 120 VAC can resolved with a transformer and buying TVs in US is much cheaper.

Thanks!

This seems like a good buy:
http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...#specification

Input: 50 or 60 Hz +/-10% (auto Sensing)
Output: 50 or 60 Hz +/-1%

I think my problem is solved. I will try to chat with Monoprice Tech Support to verify.

Most US sets that I have seen, if not all that are HD will except PAL. I could be wrong though

Having lived in London relocating a TV is not worth the trouble to me. I rented a tv and a vcr when I lived there. Power issues can be problematic. You're facing a headache. I did buy a nice British stereo amp while I lived there, but only because the U.S. power supply was available at purchase. I used the amp for at least a decade after the power supply was shipped home when I moved back to the U.S.
