I'm struggling to get my retro consoles, which are hooked via RGB SCART, to display properly on my KDL-46HX800. Actually, the NES over composite is doing quite well (though that goes through my Yamaha receiver). But the SNES via RGB SCART has lag from the controller and the image is not optimal yet.
You guys have some advice on how to configure the SCART (for retro consoles)?
If I use s-video on my SNES, to my Yamaha receiver which converts it to HDMI, there's no issues with lag and 'judder'. Haven't been able to get SCART RGB fluent yet :/
(and I now realize the US set probably doesn't even have SCART).
Ok, tried Theater mode now and that's seems to be smooth! So not sure if I ever should use Game mode. Then again, it probably works for HDMI consoles. I assume it has the least lag with games like Rock Band and Guitar Hero ^_^
