Couldn't agree more!! Picture still looks fantastic and has a better black level than my neighbors new 4k Vizio. Like Droozy, my tv will move to the bedroom as soon as I upgrade to a UHD set (I'm waiting for the HDCP and HDMI standards to stabilize/finalize first, that and UHD disc players to hit the market).

Mine is still my main viewing set. And I see no reason to change it.

The 55" is too large for my space. Maybe somewhere between the two and I'd entertain it . . .

That TV has been good to me, but I guess everything ends...

I have vertical lines appearing on the left when there is pure Red, Green or Blue on the screen in content.

I have tried a lot of things but it's always here.

If I turn colors to 0 i don't have any lines or any issues on the screen, as soon as I add colors back it's there.
Do you guys find any issues when playing the first green slide of a trailer (like on my screenshot) ?

Tried to contact Samsung but they pretty much laughed at my face !!

Oh well, time to change I guess!

Although I have to admit that the new 65" UHD OLED sets from LG are turning my head I still love my Samsung UN60D7000.

I wound a New in the Box UN46D7000 through a friend. He bought it online and decided to go with a 4K display instead. I notice a some smearing/trailing in the darker areas of Deadspace while playing. I haven't updated the display to the current firmware,so is this something that may be addressed through firmware. It is an H301 panel I believe?

In all the years I've had my UA55D7000 (Australian model) which is still going strong, can anyone give me any suggested Colour Space and White balance settings to save me going through the 3337 posts that are on this thread. It would be most appreciated.

I have the same issue but it is on the far right hand side of screen and also very faint lines in right half of screen about 2 inches wide that only shows after a couple of hours when the screen gets warm... I don't know whether there's an easy fix...

Update: Back in July of last year, the vertical lines got worse and was showing all the time, I couldn't take it anymore so I ended up claiming a warranty replacement through the store I bought it from and went to a Sony Bravia and couldn't be happier! Never again Samsung!

I am probably asking a question that has been asked but I'm not searching all the threads.

I have had the Samsung un60d7000vf 65" for several years and I love this TV. A couple weeks ago it started having power cycling issues, I read about a fix on another site but that was only temporary for a few days. I had also read that changing out the power supply board will sometimes fix the issue, I bought and installed a new board but the cycling continues. The unit will continue to cycle after removing the power cord and the red power-on light will blink (2 quick blinks) for a total of 10 blinks for 2 sets.

I would like to know if there is any fix for this issue?

I don't know much about this issue but it sounds like you need to replace the main system board for the TV. Just make sure you have a the latest and correct firmware for your TV before you try this as you will likely need to install it after replacement using the TV's Service Mode during initial bootup. It is not likely a panel/screen issue from your description nor any other part.
