I don't see anything on the TV yet. I just received mine today, and am very underwhelmed at the picture quality right out of the box.

Looking for anyone who has settings.
Also, I know this topic gets beat to death, but looking for advice on reducing the "soap opera affect", particularly as it relates to this set.

Thanks!

I am curious to see if anyone has this TV, and can offer a review. I have changed the mode to Dynamic Auto, turned film mode to off - these two minor changes significantly improved the picture quality imo.

The main reason I bought the TV was because of the size, and it was comparably priced to some of the 55" sets I was interested in. This one has built in wifi (no dongle needed) which was also a big factor.

Any other opinions/advice on this set are appreciated.

If you want proper settings for your tv, pick up a calibration disc like the Disney WOW and get the basics right.

If you go into Advanced Settings, take OFF the Film Mode, that should do it.
