Looking at these two sets, same price at Costco ($999). They seem comparable, anyone have input into which they feel is the better set? I'm generally favorable toward Vizio, but it seems like the Philips might have better reviews.

When it came down to wire for me one of the decisions that made it a no brainer was how terrible Vizio's warranty is. cant remember specifics but to fix a Vizio the price was sometimes higher than the tv was purchased for. Philips has an excellent 1-year warranty. Biggest reason I went with the Philips is because it had a great Samsung panel.

Good Luck!

Costco offers a truly amazing 3 year warranty (at no additional cost), and I've heard really good things about them honoring it without problems. Warranty aside, anyone else see any other distinguishing factors?

Thanks!
