I have a Vizio VT420M TV, the backlight works on the TV, but the lcd panel shows no display. I have unplugged the two connectors going to the panel and found that when I plug the connector on the left back in, there is blue light that comes on on the board and the back light comes on. When the right side is plugged in, nothing happens. No blue light and no back light. Is this possibly a main board problem or something else? After reading in some forums, it sounds like it may be the LED panel and not worth the cost to fix, but I want to make sure before wasting money on a mainboard. I just disconnected the top two connectors going directly to the LCD, when I plug the left side it I get a black screen on the left and and white screen on the right. When I plug just the right side in, I get the opposite. Now when both are plugged in, I get a dim RGB screen on the left and a black screen on the right.
