Download the free AVS HD709 calibration disk, and instructions. It takes awhile to figure it out but you will appreciate the results. You will be able to calibrate the basic settings, brightness, contrast etc as well as color depending on how many features are available on the Samsung without purchasing a colorimeter or other hardware. It even has a small video that explains the hows and whys of basic calibration. Or you can pay to have a professional come out and do it for you.

My advice is that an ISF calibration on a 32" TV is silly. Otto's ideas is reasonable.

There is no difference in HDMI cables. If you can see the picture without visible dropouts or sparklies, the cable is working at 100%. No other cable will display a better version of that picture. You're simply wrong if you think there is a better digital cable than one that is already working. (Oh, and plasma didn't die because of logistics problems, nor does OLED ship in big boxes because it comes from Korea.)

Thanks,I wasn't able to get it hooked up until yesterday and forgot about the post.I will download the disc and go with that.I see what you mean there really isn't much to a 32'' screen, but the disc sounds like fun.
