yes, there should be a hx850 thread. How can anyone say for sure the hx850 is better than the hx820,when the hx820 they recieved had q.c. issues? I have an hx820 with zero creases & little to no clouding (a vauge 1" veil in bottom left corner) after 5 mins adjusting a couple of settings & its a seriously high quality set & im probably 1 of the lucky 1s,but whats the good to faulty set ratio?. I am only too well aware of earlier sets with the dreaded "crease" and the cost. But if anyone got an issue free set, like myself its unlikely they would be changing out for the hx850,from whats being said with specification cuts. So yes, obviously a "good" hx850 would be a better set than a faulty hx820. But an hx850 with no crease etc. being a better set than an issue free hx820,i doubt it esp. with the cost cutting thats apparent. With the set i got i am 99.9 % happy with it & i know there are unhappy owners outhere, but a crease affected hx820 should not be compared to a creaseless hx850.
