I'm trying to connect a new Gen 3 Apple TV (ATV) to my M3D460SR and keep getting "Not Support" [sic]. When I switch to the input with the ATV I get the normal "retrieving data" display, then the Not Support display. I've tried all four HDMI inputs, 5 different cables (all of which work on other devices). I can get the ATV to work on the LG monitor on my desk with one of the cables I tried on the Vizio. Vizio tech support says call Apple. The Apple Store says bring in the TV (sure, bring a 46" set to the Apple store just to hear them say "It's a Vizio problem". Vizio firmware is version 3.12.14
Any suggestions before I just return the ATV?
The problem seems to be HDCP. Even though the set claims to support HDCP on all inputs, the connection is refused. I bought a cheapo ($12) 1:2 HDMI splitter which appears to strip out the HDCP handshake and now all is good.
