I am. I got a Vizio M552 for home (the 632 is at my g/f's place) and it's good, but other than some clouds on black screens the 632 still holds up after 3-1/2 years. No itch to replace it.

Screen not turning on lc60le632u

I have a Sharp Aquos tv model# lc60le632u, the screen is not turning on and I am getting the error code for main cpu communication error, 3 slow blinks then 1 quick one. I have tried hard resetting it with no luck. I am not able to find the replacement part DKEYMF733FM17 instead everywhere I am finding DKEYMF733FM82 is this board compatible with the tv?

Just did more research and the fm82 is not compatible. The fm17 board is discontinued amd almost impossible to find. Any way to do a hard reset on the tv?

How would you compare the two? I saw this tv last year at my sisters house and was quite inpressed. Was looking at the vizio as i look for a new TV.

I'm sorry; I didn't know you'd asked a question so long ago. Just happened to log in now.

I find them comparable. Sometimes the Vizio seems a bit punchier; sometimes the Sharp seems more accurate. I don't find myself watching one and wishing I was watching the other. The set-ups are bit different - I'm about 13' away from the 60" Sharp and 8' away from the 55" Vizio, so the smaller set appears larger - but the settings I have work for my needs.

Sorry if this isn't a recommendation as much as a musing. I've been looking for 60" 4K sets to replace the Vizio, but only because of nerd geek new hotness itch, not a problem with the Vizio. In fact, I look at what I'd spend for a new set and compare it to what I've got and end up thinking I don't really need to blow the cash.
