I need to find a (a) light , (2) higher quality (3) wireless headphone to watch TV on a Samsung (or other) TV in the bedroom. I am trying to not disturb the spouse.

The samsung is connected to a amp for the external speakers, so the amp has a headphone jack. I have been using this with a long extension to the bed with small Sennheiser headphones, but this is not a good solution.

IS there any Bluetoth option that I could use?? The wireless headphones usually advertised for watching TV are either very cheap, or either VERY BIG and HEAVY like Sennheiser's and they use line of sight, so you need a big charging base, and a receiver at the other end.

I urgently need something, and would be amazed if there are not alot of other people that have my predicament of needing to cut down TV sound at night.

Thanks!

U sould be able to find stereo bluetooth headphones.

If don't want to wear the weight of the batteries on your head, get a a pair of stereo bluetooth transmitter/receiver, the receiver would be like a pack of cig., then u hook up a regular, as small as u like earphones to it.

Solution: FREE. Explanation: I will have to charge$ you.

OK, I found a BlueBridge Stereo Bluetooth transmitter by Miccus:
http://www.miccus.com/products/blubridge-home

If this works, all I need to do is find a pair of light, comfortable, bluetooth headphones.

Thanks for the input

hey intexltd...I am in the same perdicament as you are! I picked up a set of RCA model WHP141B wireless headphones from Wal-mart 2 weeks ago for $50. I like these just ok as I am not an audiophile! These are NOT bluetooth...they are rf-900mhz type with 3.5mm plugs from the transmitter/charger connected to the TV while the transmitter is plugged into an AC outlet. I found an $80 set of Logitech's H800 wireless headphones with bluetooth AND usb connectivity on sale this week @BestBuy! I am interested in that same bluetooth transmitter that you are....but still unwilling to pay $70 for that....thanks
