This is rough statement. Which is better depends on the implementation details. General opinion is that making good edge-lit is more difficult.

I have not heard anything on the model but ill keep an eye out and see if I can get any info on the model.

Hey Thanks very much for the response bro

True. Direct-led, while direct is more of a low cost version of led, it may not be as bad. The avergae consumer, wont care. They will just see an led tv.

Direct LED is going to be, by its nature, unimpressive. It uses inexpensive LED arrays with relatively few, somewhat high powered LEDs. It's not designed to be especially uniform and its not going to buy; it's designed to be cheap.

The one area where it should outperform edge lit is in "flashlighting" because there are LEDs hiding under the bezel to peak out oddly. But all other non-uniformity is fair game and you'll find it all happening.

There is no difference in HDMI cables. If you can see the picture without visible dropouts or sparklies, the cable is working at 100%. No other cable will display a better version of that picture. You're simply wrong if you think there is a better digital cable than one that is already working.

The list I am using wont have every single tv that comes out or gets announced. If you were told by Samsung that you get the tv, then im certain you will get it. Just may have to wait till it comes out, officially that is.

True. You hear that the EH5000 is better than the EH6000. From what I can see the EH6000 looks better but granted I am not testing anything just looking at the model on display.

Not even the average consumer will see it as "not thin". Can't be the best... Which is actually true in this scenario..

Didnt say they are the best. They just may not be as bad as some ppl think. The reviews are decent. People are staying to know that the EH models are Samsungs low end models. Some ppl will by them cause of the price.
