Seems like your missing about 90% of actual 2012 sets. There are Tons of threads talking about all sets this year. Usually manufacture specific.

I can tell you 1st hand that your missing a ton of sets. As I don't know where your getting your "facts" from. I can just say they are off. I guess I'll just leave it as best of luck to you.

He's listing stuff as it actually reaches market, what's wrong with that?

There is no difference in HDMI cables. If you can see the picture without visible dropouts or sparklies, the cable is working at 100%. No other cable will display a better version of that picture. You're simply wrong if you think there is a better digital cable than one that is already working.

The OP and Jukebox 360 work for competing nationwide retailers. Both should have access to advance information on availability of new models at those retailers. If this thread were moved to the "great found deals" forum they could possibly both report to us on upcoming availability of sets from their respective employers. Mentioning the names of their employers would violate the rules in this forum but should be ok over there, but non-disclosure clauses in their terms of employment may still keep them from being specific about which store will have what when.

Oh! Consider me educated.

I'm cool with it being moved. I am just listing models that I know for 100% sure r coming out and when. No guess work. As the days and weeks go on, ill update more.
Other ppl may know more which is fine. Doesnt bother me none.

I'm fine with Texas doing this as it is a single place to look. There are a bunch of "when is it going to be released", but it is usually just a guy looking for sony or samsung, etc. Why not have a short term sticky thread for people to post when they actually know something concrete like they see it in store.

And as for those that don't know, JukeBox360 is one of the biggest spammer/trolls here. I don't mind saying it because I'm sure I'm on his ignore list. The fact that he has a link to ignore list in his forum signature should tell you all you need to know about him. He can't stand when people try to correct him and his regular misinformation. I can't believe he is actually trying to tell anyone how or what to post. Moving along now........

I don't see anything wrong with this thread in it's present form--nobody's mentionned a particular retailer nor has anyone posted prices other than msrp. It's safe to assume that if a particular model is going to be available at one retailer in a given time frame it will be available at competing ones at the same time. Posting definite time frames for new model releases is a service to the readers of this forum.

Nothing desirable in the 65"-and-up category.

I have the full list of tvs coming out. Took me longer than I thought it would. This will be for 40" n up. Not every single tv that comes out will be on here but it'll be close enough and accurate.

Thanks Texas.
I know a ton of people have been waiting to hear when the Samsung 8000 would release so we can find out if the uniformity is finally fixed (crossing my fingers on a pipe dream I know).

Pretty crazy release date on the 75". I'm not in the market with no room to fit it, but I know a bunch of guys here are.

The release date on the 75" is further confirmation it might never see the light of day.

Thanks for this list. I still haven't decided on a TV and this may help a bunch! I'm in the $700 to $800 price range and LG was looking good, but now I may wait a bit longer. I like some Samsung models but not in my price range.

It wasnt on any list last year, this year it is. Last year was just a prototype, from the list I have, it looks to be real and will likely come out. ive been using this list for years and has never not been inaccurate. Now there will likely be only a limited supply cause of the price and size. Once the summer time hits, we will know for sure if Samsung will actaully release it.

It could be possible but I currently do not have that model on the list. Doesnt mean it wont come out.
If the model gets added to the list I get, then i will update in my post.

I cannot list all models though as I only can go by the list I get.

Thanks for this list texasrattler. This is really helpful and interesting information. I'm hoping to be able to get a new TV at the end of the year. Keeping my eye on those 60"-70" sets. Right now we're rocking a 32" non-led 60hz that we paid $900 for!

Looking at these prices, Samsungs new UPP policy, and the fact that nothing really interests me about this new lineup, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a UN60D7000 for $2k. Considering I'd have to pay almost double for the 2012 model just made me want to cry.

The new policy is only for select models not all. Now one knows if Samsung will even enforce it or if retailers wont complain about it later on if sales r weak or fall cause of the new policy. Things can always change very quickly.

Also the new models are actually the same or cheaper than when last years models came out. Also your seeing the prices that r only msrp, that doesnt reflect sale or other promotions that will go on.

I doubt that LG 84" LED LM9600 msrp $9999 set sees the light of day, but if it does I'll be there when they have their 50% off clearance sale.

It was pre-orderable last year at select retailers who were informed it was going to be made available by their reps. I laughed.

I am very skeptical it will ship this year. At the proposed price, the market size is so small anyway, I'm not sure I care.

There is no difference in HDMI cables. If you can see the picture without visible dropouts or sparklies, the cable is working at 100%. No other cable will display a better version of that picture. You're simply wrong if you think there is a better digital cable than one that is already working.

Rogo, I hope you are wrong. I'd like it to come out sooner, but I guess at least this will let me make a better informed decision between it and the 2013 Elites.

It would be great to get the Elite lineup in this thread once info becomes available.

texasrattler,

Thank you very much for sharing the list with us. This will at least let us know what to be expecting this year, and at what price point.

The LG 84" LM9600 is the TV I want to buy, and until now there was only speculation as to how much it was going to retail for. Many thought at or around $8,000, but $10,000 sounds more realistic. Here's hoping that LG doesn't up that price at launch. It would have been nice if the TV were to be released in July/Aug as originally stated by the LG reps at CES. But October isn't that much more of a wait, so that's fine as long as the TV does actually get released in October.

And your list shows that the 84" is full array which is great news! The demo model at CES was edge lit, so maybe LG plans to improve the design to include full array backlighting.

Now I just have to wait patiently for eight more months.

Seth

Or that this is, as always, just PR and the set will only be available in the outskirts of Bejing in 2015
