I've got a friend who bought a this TV as a floor model from BB, it's stuck in demo mode and it pops up every 5 minutes. The suspend demo mode option does nothing. Any ideas?

call bb and ask them how/why they didn't take it out of demo mode

or reset to factory setting and choose "home"

Think we tried that. When you say 'home' do you mean the 'home' button or home as in house?

Press home on the remote, scroll to System settings, press enter, then scroll to general set-up, press enter, factory reset select yes.

Not sure if it turns of and back on again or just off, when you turn on you then get the option to select Home or Demo, this is where you can get it out of Demo mode.

Yep. When these tvs are initially turned on, it has an initial settings you are asked to set. One of the first is: Are you a commercial business or are you using this for your personal use. Your choices are Home or Demo.

It should be an easy fix. It's under Settings>Preferences>Initial Setup, for my NX720.

I finally saw this fix posted on another site after trying for hours to correct the same problem. It's real simple. No remote, no scrolling through settings, just hold the lower HOME button on the side of the TV for about 5 seconds. A message appears on the screen "Demo Off". Done!
Hope this helps.
