I have the 70" model of the 640u; I opt for the "user" mode, setting the basic adjustments with Disney WOW, and tweaking the color with the advanced section of the disc, and using the advanced color settings.
ALL video processing - motion enhancement, active contrast, film mode, DNR, and OPC - are turned off. I do not notice any motion problems on any content, from action movies on blu-ray and cable, to sporting events ( basketball, football, tennis, and I'll know more about baseball this spring)... No blurring or jerkiness noticed, period.
My advice is to forget about all of the preset "modes"; use your own specified settings (you can use a different user setting for every input), turn off all of the crap mentioned above, and get yourself a decent calibration disc to set your basics.
