Here ya go... These were given to me by a friend who calibrates these things.. The results are stunning!
Now I want feed back on what everyone thinks...(lol)... First off, go to CNN and if you can pause the picture during a scene when one of the anchors is speaking, that will help you see the results.
CNN's HD is among the best "live HD" programming. Ok here we go:
1. Go to menu and access Preferences, select scence setting and change it to "Cinema1 or 2" doesn't matter. (Don't freak out, it gets dark at first)
2. Backlight: max
2. Picture : max
3. Brightness: 50
4. Color: 60
5. Hue: 0
6. Color Temp: Cool
7. Sharpness: 82
8. Noise: off Mpeg: off Dot: off
9. Motion: Smooth
10. Cine: Auto1
1. Black Corrector: High
2. Advanced Contrast: off
3. Gamma: +1
4. Auto Light: off
5.Clear white: High
6. Live color: off or low (depending on your taste)
7. White Balance: (adjust these only) Green gain -1 Red bia's +1 Green bia's -2 Blue bia's +1
8. Detail:high Edge: high
These settings will make your picture look the best it can.. Blacks are solid, no color bleeding, perfect brightness, no edge lighting issues, colors are realistic, flesh tone is on the money, etc... Now pop in a Blue Ray (Hunger games) and be prepared to be blown away. DON'T FORGET TO LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!
