This may or may not help. I recently bought a T27A950, which has Anynet. The only way I can turn it on or off is: Menu>System>Anynet. There's no direct on or off on the remote itself. Your model may be different, of course.

For at least three years, HDMI-CEC (Anynet in Samsung) has caused AVR's, TV's,and HTIB's to default back to some lame input when they are turned off. I've seen the problem in Denon and Yamaha receivers, and Samsung TVs and HTIBs. The AVS forum members' "solution" of last resort is to turn it off.

Is this still a problem? Other than turning it off, is there any other workaround? Is there a thread here regarding the problem?
