today i tried to turn on my LG 42LD520 but it won't turn on. The light doesn't turn on at all and the tv doesn't turn on. It's not the power either because other devices still work in the same plug. Anyone have an idea of what is wrong?

It doesn't turn on via power button or remote.

I also posted this in the LG thread to see if anyone has experience.

Edit: I realized I bought it last September 2010 so it is out of warranty.
Thanks.

Yeah, I'd call LG first and see what they say. I have the 47LD520 with about 3300 hours on it. So far, so good. I did purchase the extended warranty from LG for about $80 so I'm covered, should I need it, for 3 years or so.

Maybe I should have bought an lg warranty too! But usually when I buy them I never use them... I called log, they weren't able to help much. I opened up the panel, but I didn't see any bulging capacitors. The TV is not warm to touch either. I think maybe the power supply is broken. Thanks for the help.
