I recently purchased a Samsung 60es7500. I'm very happy with it except some basic issues that many have said is acceptable and others have said to return it when you have these issues with your tv. Basically, I have some minor flashlighting and some not as minor clouding on my screen. I'm not sure what to do. It is an expensive investment. I want the best(subjective, I know). Some people say wait till break in period is over to evaluate. So, my question is When is it a good idea for you to return a set for another one? At what point do you draw the line? I know many will say it's subjective. I know that bit. I have a lot of experience with TVs, but still uncertain when it's in my best interest to exchange the set. What do you think?

I love this forum, but I'll never start completely enjoying my tv until I stop reading for a bit, I think. :-)

That's the best advice you can give to yourself. wink.gif

If you're unhappy, return it ASAP.

Thanks for the reply. I am very happy with my set, but I paid a lot of money for the set. I want it to have minimal flaws. What is considered acceptable flaws for a top of the line set? How much will clouding affect my picture quality in the years to come?

That's why I never buy a top-of-the-line, new model TV. Last year discounts works for me, no guild, just enjoyment.

Solution: FREE. Explanation: I will have to charge$ you.
