The ever-elusive search continues.

I am looking for a 16:10 (1920 x 1200, 2560 x 1600, etc.) 120Hz monitor that is at or greater than 27" for a triple surround, multi-display gaming/entertainment experience setup that I plan on building sometime in the near future. My current gaming/power setup sports three ASUS VW266H 25.5" 1920 x 1200 60Hz monitors. It's time for the jump to 120Hz fluidity! Don't worry, I do have the hardware to drive such a massive stack of display real estate. The less-desired 16:9 resolution (1920 x 1080, 2560 x 1440, etc.) need not apply. Any useful information pointing this gamer/system builder in the successful direction is appreciated!

The need:
• 120Hz
• 27" or greater
• 16:10 resolution
• Fast response time

WANTED: 16:10 120Hz monitors for triple surround gaming/Google Earth browsing.

I don't think those exist...But i would LOVE to be proven wrong, because i would definitely get one. I think the closest you will get is a Yamakasi Catleap Extreme, which you have already "factored out" because its not 16:10.

You could look on ebay to see if one of the korean ebayers has something like this, or you could pay Sony hundreds of thousands to make a custom panel for you!

THERE YA GO!

lol.

Joking aside, from what I gathered from a quick google search, 16:10 is a rare gem that is slowly fading away. good luck on your search, though!

Exactly, if it's not 16:10, forget it. 16:9 is only good for 5x1 portrait....hmm....

Yeah, yeah, the old CRT that's everyone's favorite CRT of all time.

No, thank you.

Surely there must be some smart manufacturer out there that still makes 16:10 LCDs in a larger size with low latency, and maybe 120hz? Right? RIIIIGHHHT!?

WANTED: 16:10 120Hz monitors for triple surround gaming/Google Earth browsing.
