Can someone please help with this issue! I just bought the Sony XBR 929. REally happy with picture quality, but when I try streaming videos from my MacPro via internet wifi, only some work. The others (.mpg, .avi, etc) all become very choppy and freeze. Even though they are smaller file sizes.

it's not an internet issue because I just doubled the speed of my internet to be sure. Can the sony xbr not handle these file types well? Is there anything I can do? I had a samsung UND700055 that i took back because of edge bleeding, but that handled streaming videos perfectly. I need to get my xbr to handle them tool.

Excerpt from the online I-manual

http://esupport.sony.com/docs/imanual/NA/2011/EN/HX920_UC_CH4/nt_cnttohomenw_uc_nodivx.html

Seems to suggest AVI extensions may not be supported.

Until everything squared away, always recommend to use a WIRED connection to avoid introducing WIFI uncertainties to the equation.
