Not surprised, but disappointed. They have done a lot to push forward LCD technology with large panel sizes, things like UV²A, and now IGZO. I always liked the stylings of the high end Aquos sets too.

But while the panels they made were good, their TV sets were let down by poor quality image processing, and in recent years, being forced into a price war by the Korea giants.
