I recently had my computer monitor go out on me.

I've since replaced it, but am looking to trouble shoot the broken one (specs in title) in the hope to bring it back to life.

I'm hoping someone can walk me through this process or at least tell me if its worth my time/money.

The monitor powers up fine, but quickly turns off after a few seconds. I've taken it apart to look at the boards to see if there is any noticeable blown capacitors or clear signs of damage, but unfortunately there is not. Admittedly, I may not even know what to be looking for so I've take some pictures and video that I will link below.

The only noticeable thing that I thought may be out of the ordinary is there is a slight electrical sound and some kind of visible spark in the top right corner. I tried my best to film this, but it didn't do that good of a job. The electrical sound happens simultaneously with the picture displaying. Its almost like there is a short of some kind.
