Would u know about what time Amazon starts there BF pricing? 12:01am, 8:00am? ...
Amazon is doing a whole long week of black friday deals. These deals are lightning deals, so each day they list which deals they have, usually with just a hint, like last year the $199.99 42" TCL tv was 42" and "under $200" or something like that. So then you wait for the time the deal starts on the lightning deal page, refresh at exactly the right time, and click add to cart instantly. Then you have 15 minutes to check out with the tv in your cart. After 15 minutes passes, the item is removed from your cart and given to someone on the wait list. Many of these tv's sell within a fraction of a second. As such a lot of people who try to order get nothing, another group gets the tv, and another group gets wait listed. luckily wait lists do often work out for some, as many of the initial grabbers had multiple pc's auto grabbing the items to ensure they got just one.

It's a week long thing. the price will start at the time the lightning deal starts, and won't last more than a second or two. Counting refresh times with ping, maybe 1-2 seconds, but maybe 1/4 of a second to refresh in and click "add to cart"

Yes, this is true, the 42" TCL for $199.99 did sell that fast. It wasn't exactly an AVSforum worthy tv, but it sold fast for the price. I'm not sure how the 60" Vizio will do given that it is a good deal, but is not entirely unbelievable. 50" tv's really are where the budget is this year, as low end junk ones are hitting $300 this black friday. At $688, a 60" tv isn't crazy, clearance 120hz westinghouse lcd's were $699, and at least one 60" plasma has been around $800 a few times, I think the panasonic U50 (lowest end model). Also the panasonic is on amazon's list of good deals, so maybe it will get a nice price drop at some point too. However $688 will still sell this tv super fast because it is a "smart tv" which appeals to customers and it is LED, and not clearance, but a current model tv just released. I'm just hoping it isn't as impossible to get as some other lightning deals have been.
