So, looks like I'm gonna be buying a conversion van (with camper package) in the next week or so. Given its substantial interior space, I'd like to do a decent entertainment system in the back. The space currently occupied by a 13" tube TV (with a VCR to the side; LOL), could easily have a 20" monitor placed there with minimal effort. However, I'm thinking a little more ambitious; something along the lines of a 32 - 40 inch set. Now, a TV that size could be a serious obstacle when you're not using it, so my idea it to have it mounted on a cantilevered hinge type of mount, so the set can be lifted into a horizontal position when not in use. Of course, this is something you CANNOT do with a plasma set, so my question is: Does the same restriction reply to LCD TVs (and does whether they're regular or LED backlighting make a difference?)?

Thanks in advance for y'all's help.
