I came from a 42" Toshiba Regza that has great picture quality.
This TV is leaps and bounds better than the 55LS4500 I just upgraded from. The blacks levels are actually black
I tried using the picture wizard to set things up, but it made things to dark for my liking and just reset it back to default settings.
I also noticed the 240Hz is unbearable when playing Black Ops II, so I had to turn it off for that.
Otherwise, picture quality is superb especially out of the box, but I am sure I will be tweaking it some here and there, but nothing like what I did with the 55LS4500.
I think the remote is actually pretty decent. Im more impressed that it can control both my Sony-DN1000 and Uverse box with little setup at all.
The HDMI-CEC switching is kinda funky at times, but is manageable. The magic remote can turn my receiver on, but it does not default to my HDMI1, which is the TV.
The apps are cool, but I dont see myself using those often because I really didnt buy this TV for anything else but picture. Not big on the 3D and smart features. I just considered those as perks that came with the TV.
